THE HENRY COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.      Margaret Mead

Founded in 1983, The Henry County Humane Society is an all-volunteer,
no-kill animal shelter group in Paris
and Henry County, Tennessee.

Almost two hundred animals are cared for in the homes of a small but very dedicated group of volunteers.

When you adopt or foster a shelter animal, you save his or her life.

The Henry County Humane Society works with the city shelter to help place as many animals as possible.

Every effort is made to minimize the number of euthanized animals.

Even one healthy, euthanized animal will always be one too many.
